CASA CARTAGENA CUSCO has been
declared a Monumento f Peruvian Cultural Heritage by the National Institute
of Culture.Casa Cartagena was built by the inca
Empire and modified during the colonial period.,being always inhabited by
ruling nobility. Casa Cartagena received its name during the XVII Century
when it was inhabited by the “Encomendador” of Cusco Don Fernando Cartagena
y Santa Cruz, a member of Viceroy Blasco Nuñez de Velas cout.
